ThesisStreet consensus, scenarios, merits, risks, and invalidation triggers Thesis Summary Zeta Network Group (formerly Color Star Technology Co., Ltd.) has undergone a massive strategic pivot from online entertainment and education to cryptocurrency mining and digital asset treasury management. While this pivot has dramatically expanded its balance sheet assets (primarily through the acquisition of SolvBTC), the company's financial health is extremely weak. For the six months ended December 31, 2025, the company generated $16.9 million in mining revenue but posted a staggering net loss of $97.1 million, driven by a $55.85 million impairment on cryptocurrency holdings and an $8.58 million impairment on mining equipment. With an accumulated deficit of $352.3 million, positive operating cash flow of only $2.45 million, and cash reserves of just $1.67 million, management has explicitly flagged substantial doubt about the company's ability to continue as a going concern. Furthermore, the resignation of Chief Investment Officer Patrick Ngan in March 2026 and the company's reliance on Cayman Islands corporate governance exemptions on Nasdaq introduce severe governance risks. Given the extreme volatility of its crypto-heavy asset base, high dilution risk, and going concern uncertainty, a Sell recommendation is strongly warranted. The intrinsic value at the top of this page answers a different question: what the business is worth today. Our research · scenarios, merits, risks, and invalidation triggersResearch as of 19 Jun 2026 Scenarios · 12-month scenario targets Bear CaseDownside scenario $0.05 A prolonged crypto market downturn triggers further massive impairments on its SolvBTC holdings. Unable to raise capital or meet its debt obligations, the company faces default on its secured term loan, potential delisting from Nasdaq, or bankruptcy restructuring. Base CaseCentral scenario $0.30 The company continues to struggle with high operating costs in its mining operations and remains highly vulnerable to cryptocurrency price fluctuations. Ongoing cash burn forces further highly dilutive equity offerings or expensive debt issuances, depressing the share price further. Bull CaseUpside scenario $0.35 Successful execution of the Bitcoin-centric institutional finance strategy and partnership with SOLV Foundation drives significant institutional adoption, leading to robust revenue generation and capital appreciation.
