Strategic Initiatives
Growth programs, investments, and their expected impact
Active pursuit of diversification strategies and pathways to increase equity, specifically focusing on finding a larger private reverse merger partner that would benefit from access to IHT's NYSE American listing.
Expected impact: Aims to enhance market position, stabilize financial standing, and increase overall equity value.
Strategic plan to sell one or both of the Trust's moderate-service hotels (Tucson, AZ and Albuquerque, NM) to capture their full market value, which management believes is significantly higher than their depreciated book values.
Expected impact: Expected to generate substantial cash proceeds and unlock hidden real estate equity for shareholders.
Strategic investment in UniGen Power, Inc., an innovative clean energy power generation company developing high-efficiency natural gas power technology (1000TA) to meet rising electricity demands.
Expected impact: High-risk, high-upside potential that could translate to a 15-20%+ ownership stake in a disruptive clean energy player.
Managing the revitalization of IBC Hotels, LLC through IHT's management subsidiary, RRF LLLP, to provide reservation, branding, and soft-brand technology services to independent hotels worldwide.
Expected impact: Provides a low-risk, service-based diversification opportunity leveraging existing hospitality management expertise.
