Strategic Initiatives
Growth programs, investments, and their expected impact
A three-stage brownfield expansion of the NAL mine in Quebec to increase processing throughput to 6,500 tonnes per day (tpd) and lower unit operating costs.
Expected impact: Increases nominal spodumene concentrate production to 338 ktpa (up from 315 ktpa in prior studies) and lowers LOM C1 cash costs to US$628/t (C$847/t).
Repurchase and termination of the life-of-mine spodumene concentrate offtake agreement previously granted to Waratah Capital Advisors.
Expected impact: Gives Elevra 100% control over its pro-rata offtake entitlement from the Moblan Lithium Project, eliminating a 10% discounted sales commitment.
Non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mangrove Lithium to evaluate supplying NAL spodumene concentrate for local refining.
Expected impact: Integrates Elevra's spodumene concentrate into North American refining capacity, reducing transportation and logistics costs.
